Working Arrangements
As we offer a flexible service to address a wide range of client requirements,
we can undertake aerial photography in a number of different ways.
Commissioned Work
We regularly undertake commissioned aerial photography and survey work for a variety of clients, both on a one-off and a project progress basis. We presently hold the contract to photograph the new Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh on a monthly basis, and we are also carrying out an extensive programme of aerial photography of the monitored bathing beaches in Scotland for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency on an ongoing basis, for example.
Part-Commissioned Work
At times we work on what might be termed a Part-Commissioned basis, in that clients will ask us to cover particular sites the next time we are overflying an area, or commit to buying a given number of photographs from shoots we are intending to undertake on a speculative basis.
This approach offers clients cost advantages when compared to exclusively commissioned work, and as we add material collected in this way to our photo library, it can work in the interests of both parties.
Speculative Work and Photo Library
We also undertake a good deal of speculative work to expand and update our extensive photo library. A full catalogue will eventually be available on this site, but in the meantime we can usually respond quickly to any enquiry about a specific site or area, discussing specific views available, prices etc.
All our work is shot on high quality medium-format film, unless otherwise instructed by the client. This is then scanned at high resolution, so the quality of our material - whether in the form of prints or digital images is consistently high. We can also digitally retouch images if required.
