Aerial Photography Costs
The cost of aerial photography varies considerably, as it is dependent on a number of variables, including:
The precise location and character of the site
The time of year and prevailing weather conditions
What type of photography does the client require?
How many photographs are required and in what format?
Will this require special permissions or arrangements?
What type of aircraft or helicopter will be required?
|
Each of these factors has to be carefully evaluated before an accurate estimate can be prepared,
as some can have a very significant impact on the cost.
For example, the operating cost of a single-engined helicopter would normally be around two to three times
that of a fixed-wing aircraft, while the use of a twin-engined helicopter (madatory over large built-up areas)
would normally double that price again.
The best way to get an accurate cost is to let us give you an estimate based on your precise requirements, either on an exclusive commissioned or part commissioned basis.
